What this is
A slow slide-out, a motor that runs without movement or an awning that stops halfway needs attention before something bends or tears. The symptom may be electrical, mechanical or simply an obstruction.
Let us know which side is affected and what happens when you use the controls. An on-site inspection can help identify the issue and the safest next step. Not every mechanism or replacement job is the same, so recommendations follow what we find.
What the job covers
- Reviewing the symptoms and checking for visible obstructions or damage
- Inspecting accessible tracks, hardware, motors and controls as appropriate
- Identifying whether the issue appears mechanical or electrical
- Discussing repair options and any parts or specialist work needed
Signs you need this
- Slide-out moves unevenly or stops partway
- Motor runs but the room or awning does not move
- Awning fabric is loose, torn or will not roll in evenly
- New grinding, clicking or binding when operating the mechanism
Done on site

Questions
About slide-outs & awnings
No. Stop operating it if you hear grinding or see uneven movement. Forcing it can make the damage worse.
