About

A high desert RV business built on a mechanical background

The story

The Reliable RV is run by Christopher Barnett, out of Yucca Valley in the Joshua Tree area. The work started from a long mechanical and technical background, the kind that teaches you to trace a problem to its cause instead of swapping parts until something changes.

Living out here made the gap obvious. There are a lot of RVs in the Morongo Basin, parked on lots, in driveways and on open parcels, and not many people able to come out and take care of them properly. Owners were being told to tow a rig down the hill or wait weeks for an opening. That is what the business was built to fix.

Today the focus is roof restoration and metal skirting, two jobs that matter most for rigs living in this climate. Both are done on site, and both start with an inspection rather than a quote pulled out of the air.

What matters here

How the work gets done

Technical background first

Years of mechanical and technical work came before the RV business, and that is what the diagnosis rests on.

Local to the basin

Based in Yucca Valley in the Joshua Tree area, working the same roads and lots as the people who call.

Honest about the fix

If a roof is too far gone to coat, you hear that instead of paying for work that hides the problem.

Service that comes to you

On site work means your rig stays put and you are not chasing a shop appointment weeks out.
